The mission of the Division of University Advancement is to build strong, lasting relationships with the University among alumni, donors, and other important constituents to encourage investment in and support of the University.
The Division provides leadership and assistance to garner support for the institution and enhance its reputation and visibility among its internal and external constituencies through strategic relationship building, fundraising, and stewardship. Strong alumni programs and services help promote the interests of the University, its alumni, and the community.
The Division oversees the following functions: Development, Alumni Engagement, Advancement Services, Advancement Communications, Corporate & Foundation Relations, Donor Stewardship & Engagement, Events, and the Rowan University Foundation. In conjunction with the academic colleges and other units of the University, the Division is responsible for leading the institution’s development efforts. Through the cultivation and establishment of new relationships, and the continuance of ongoing relationships, the Division works to promote and advance the overall mission of the University and expand its margin of excellence.
