Students pursuing the Forensic & Physical Anthropology Concentration will be trained in the study of the human fossil record, evolution, human biological adaptation and variation, primatology, and forensic anthropology. The concentration prepares students with foundational knowledge in human genetics and a more advanced skill set in osteology, comparative anatomy, and human skeletal identification. This concentration is of interest to students wishing to pursue careers in law enforcement and forensic-related fields.
Students in the Concentration in Forensic & Physical Anthropology will be advised to take ANTH 02315 - Forensic Anthropology to fulfill their lab course requirement under the BA Anthropology major.
