SOC 08690 - Urban Research Studio

From community-based research and data collection to conduct original research to policy analysis, program evaluation, or projects that introduce new novel approached to addressing urban health issues, this is a project-based course that can take a variety of formats. Ideally, with the consultation of an advisor, each participant in this course will undertake a research project. The results of this research may be an academic paper, a health policy position paper, a community education documentary or the submission of a grant application to seek funding for future programmatic needs or future research.
