PHIL 09341 - Biomedical Ethics-WI

This course examines issues in health care, medicine and bio-technology. Topics can include: euthanasia and end-of life; confidentiality and privacy; medical experimentation and informed consent; the allocation of medical resources; and the role of race, class, gender and dis/ability in biomedical issues. This course fulfills the Rowan Experience Writing Intensive requirement.

Prerequisite Courses: 1 class in PHIL or PHRE and 1 class in Comp II (COMP 01112, HONR 01112, or ENGR 01201) are required as prerequisites to PHIL 09341.
