MATH 03150 - Discrete Mathematics Credits: 3
This course provides a survey of discrete mathematics topics appropriate as an introduction for students of mathematics and computer science. Topics included are logic, sets, relations, functions, recursion, combinatorics, graphs, and modular arithmetic. Emphasis is place on exploration and computation in these areas.
Prerequisite Courses: MATH 01100-01499, STAT 02100-02499, MATH 03100-03499, MATH 01095, or a score of SAT Math (S02) 550 or greater, SAT Math (S12) 570 or or greater, ACT (A02) Math 24 or greater, Algebra Test (ALG or ALGR) 77 or greater Quantitative Reasoning Test (QAS) 255 or greater, as a prerequisite to MATH 01122.
