Certificate of Graduate Study in International Crisis Management & Security

The Certificate of Graduate Studies in International Crisis Management & Security is an interdisciplinary academic field that analyzes the causes of global conflict (war), systemic oppression, and explores processes by which crisis and security can be managed to maximize justice while minimizing violence. The COGS in International Crisis Management & Security is designed as a stand-alone credential. While pursuing a master’s degree in Emergency & Threat Response Management, Criminal Justice, or Public Policy, students earning the graduate certificate will have the theoretical understanding of international crisis response, management and security operations.

Total Required Credits for the Program: 9 s.h.
To be awarded the Certificate of Graduate Studies in International Crisis Management & Security, students must complete all courses required for the COGS in International Crisis Management & Security with at least a 2.0 average.
