The Certificate of Graduate Study (COGS) in Management Information Systems/MIS will enhance a student’s preparedness to assume jobs in a world of rapidly changing technology by preparing them to develop business solutions through the use of information and technology resources. Students will be experienced in dealing with technological issues, understand the role of humans in developing technology-based solutions, and have the ability to manage technology-related projects.
The purpose of the COGS in MIS is to serve those that wish to gain business expertise for career purposes, as well as an opportunity for aspirational applicants to take several classes before they apply to the MBA Program.
