The Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) will provide students with the organizational leadership and analytical skills needed to secure stable administrative positions in areas such as healthcare, accounting, marketing, or management. The program is comprised of a core curriculum of vital strategies in project management, teambuilding and analytics coupled with a focus on a concentrated area by applying a 15-credit certificate of graduate study based on student preference. Studies are finalized with an application of skills in a capstone study course. Students who graduate from this program will be prepared to move forward within their current industry or transition to a new one by demonstrating in-depth analytical competencies, leadership skills, and the communication of thoughtful solutions.

Required Courses: 15 s.h.
Required COGS Elective: 15 s.h.
Elective credit in the MPS is completed by fulfilling all of the requirements of one 15 s. h. Certificate of Graduate Study. Completion of one Certificant of Graduate Study is a requirement for the MPS and oversight is provided by the department/program offering the certificate. The list of COGS that fulfill MPS requirements include:
- Administrative Science
- First Responder Executive Leadership
Where a COGS has less than 15 s.h. to complete, the student will be required to take the remaining semester hours as electives from the department/program that offers the COGS or other approved graduate electives, as chosen in conjunction with the Program Coordinator.
Total Required Credits for the Program: 30 s.h.

Satisfy all course requirements as dictated by the academic department.
Minimum Required Grades and Cumulative GPA
The Master of Professional Studies is a Category 2 program.
