• Apply for Field Placement by the deadline listed the previous spring (typically March 1).
• Have at least a 2.0 GPA.
• Earn a satisfactory evaluation from the instructor and supervisor for the field component in SWK 01.330 Social Work Policy and Practice.

***Benchmark II: To be placed in Practicum II senior year, students must:

• Have satisfactory evaluation and passing grade from practicum placement I
• Meet CSWE nine core competencies

Students must apply for SWK 01.450 Senior Social Work Practicum in spring of their junior year.
Students must complete 400 supervised hours at an approved social work field practicum and
pass SWK 01.450 Senior Social Work Practicum 1, SWK 01.451 Senior Seminar 1, SWK
01.460 Senior Social Work Practicum 2, and SWK 01.461 Senior Seminar 2.
