Women’s & Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary field that examines gender roles in the complex contexts of culture and society, raising important questions about social, political, economic, and cultural institutions. The Certificate of Undergraduate Study in Women, Gender, & Media fosters intellectual development and professional preparation by drawing upon academic areas such as art history, communications studies, film studies, and literature, broaden understanding of gender and diversity issues in media.
