SPSY 22630 - Practicum in School Psychology Credits: 3
This course emphasizes psychoeducational assessment, intervention, and strategies for the student with special needs. Practical experiences in psychoeducational assessment and consultation strategies with students are provided, as well as, with staff and parents. Graduate students complete a 300-hour field experience within a public school setting during which they provide assessment, consultation and counseling services to P-12 children. Instruction as well as supervision is provided as part of this practicum experience.
