CS 06210 - Advanced Computing Technologies Credits: 3
This course is designed to expose students to various key knowledge areas of computer science which may not have in-depth coverage in the other required courses of the computer science program. Students will expand their scope of understanding of these areas through a number of technology focus areas, which could include such domains as systems fundamentals, information assurance and security (including cybersecurity practices and principles), information management, networking and communication, and parallel and distributed computing. This course also lays the groundwork for students to experience the breadth of computer science disciplines to prepare them for specialization when selecting advanced program electives.
Prerequisite Courses: CS 04114 with a minimum grade of D- and CS 06205 with a minimum grade of D- Course Attributes: CAT, UGRD
