SMED 40462 - Clinical Practice I

This course serves as the first semester of the yearlong Clinical Practice required for BA Subject Matter Education teacher candidates. Each candidate is placed in a middle or high school classroom and attends that placement 2 full days a week, allowing for opportunities to apply pedagogy and principles from the co-requisite subject specific Teaching and Learning A course. This course is graded as Pass/No Credit, with a “Pass” indicating a grade of B- or better.

Prerequisite Courses: READ 30319 with a minimum grade of C- (may be taken concurrently) or SELN 40477 with a minimum grade of C- (may be taken concurrently) or SMED 51330 with a minimum grade of C- (may be taken concurrently) or SMED 52330 with a minimum grade of C- (may be taken concurrently) or SMED 50330 with a minimum grade of C- (may be taken concurrently)
